Lots has been happening here. We are getting a lot of fresh veggies from the garden so that is keeping us very busy! Here are some misc. pictures of the kids and such...

This is the PERFECT shirt for Aubrey! Look at the film of dust on his arms and legs.

Around the farm...

Lots of things have been going on around here. It is HOT, but we have had some days with a nice breeze, so that is nice! The boys have started swimming lessons and so far so good. Here is a bunch of pictures of different things...

My niece enjoying the wonderful Blueberries that are now in season. The kids love them!!!

Seth said Aubrey looks like Bono in this picture with these rose colored glasses...

Some of our freshly dug potatoes.

Doesn't she look like Sean in this picture???

Ok, so this is what I found in my house the other day. Kind of freaked me out when it started moving!! I thought it was a toy...

This year will see some additions to our family. We recently got a catahoula puppy, who we haven't figured out a name for yet. I will post some pictures soon. The other addition will come around Christmas/New Year. We are excited!!!

I will try to get some pictures of the puppy soon.....

My New Do...

Ok, I don't know what came over me, but I decided to cut my hair off. No, I didn't do it myself, Amber is the guilty party!! I like it a lot, but Seth said it looks too boyish, oh well. Just wanted to let you get used to it before I shock you all in person!! Sean did the honors of taking the picture!!!

What? I can't hear you!

All is well here at Chandlers Rowe. Spring is here and we are scrambling to get the plants in the garden and seeds planted. We have been a bit delayed with weather and a full schedule, but we are getting there!
We really enjoyed having our good friend Deanna in town from Nepal! She brought the cute outfit for Nadya that she is wearing in the pictures! We miss you Deanna!!

We have done some serious tree cutting. Seth cut down seven trees that were next to the house. They were gumball trees for which there is no good use around our house, so down they came. I even learned how to drive the tractor and help him pull them away from the house. I enjoyed that! I know the boys don't seem very excited to be on the tractor in this picture, but they were, they were just tired and being contrary for the picture. With their Daddy is their FAVORITE place to be and I'm happy with that 100%!!

Well, I had my ear operated on last Tues. and I think I can finally say I have rounded the corner on recovery. I would post pictures, but I'm just not sure that is necessary, but they basically cut the entire length of the back of my ear where it is connected to my head and patched my ear drum. It is feeling more normal today when I touch it, so I am thrilled about that. I will go to the doctor Thurs. to check and see how things are doing internally. I am praying great, because that is something I don't want to have to repeat!!! Oh, and as for the blog title, well that is referring to me. I have a sponge and a cottonball in my ear, not to mention it isn't working right yet anyway, so as you can imagine, I have repeated that many times in the last week! I guess it is ok when it comes to hearing screaming kids though, right??!! Hope you all are having a fantastic spring!!

Aubrey is 2!

WOW! How time flies. Aubrey is now 2 years old. Seems like yesterday we were on the way to the hospital to have him. The funny thing is, the whole thing happened so quickly, you don't really have time to freak out, but looking back--I can't believe I had a baby in the car! Well, at least we got a good story out of the whole thing! Here he is then at 5lbs 7oz 18 inches long.

Homeade Snow...

Well, once again it has been a long time since the last post. Time has flown by so quickly and we have been busy. We have several projects going on right now. The Chicken shack is progressing slowly but surely and we have planted our apple trees, grape vines, blueberries, and raspberries. Soon we will be planting our summer garden, which, is my favorite! Can wait till we have some fresh tomatoes. Below you will see pictures of what the boys managed to do in 10 minutes of no supervision. Gotta love it! Seth said they were playing cops and were dusting for fingerprints! As if their general mess wasn't enough to clean up.

I couldn't resist posting this picture of Aubrey. For some reason, my children think they need to be devoid of all clothing in order to play in the mud. Aubrey, it appears, decided to enjoy the sun as well as the mud.

Incredible, Edible EGG

Ok, I know it has been a long time since I last posted. No excuses, however, we did have some trouble with the our dish not being lined up properly with the satellite, but it is much better now. We are all doing well. The kids are growing. Aubrey is talking very well, and about to get a rude awakening because as soon as we run out of diapers, he is getting potty trained. I can't take the diapers any more. Nadya is almost crawling. She gets on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth. Won't be long; she already drags herself to the toys she wants on the floor. Sean is starting to ask why. So far it hasn't been too annoying, but I'm sure it will be given time.

One of our chickens layed this ginormous egg. It was so big I couldn't put my fingers around it!!!
Sean is holding a regular Large egg and the huge egg in the other hand. Most of the eggs the chickens lay are what you would get if you bought jumbo eggs at the store. This giant one was a double yoker! See picture below. Seth said it tasted great!

Happy Valentines day to all. LOVE from the Chandlers
